Terry Lewis is a native of Southern California. He was born in Oceanside California, and now lives in Newport Beach. Even as a young boy, Terry was interested in photography. His first camera was a plastic Kodak camera, and Terry would even develop his own black and white prints. He has been a photographer for over 30 years and has taught photography at UCLA, the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising and Irvine Adult School. And, for the past five years, Terry has been shooting jazz concerts for the American Jazz Institute. Today Terry’s images are from digital cameras which ”just adds more fun to photography” he says. He digitally enhances his images with computer effects to achieve the artistic feel he is looking for. Terry does all of his own printing on matte papers and canvas giclee prints, thus keeping control over the creative process. His eye for detail, composition, and his imagination make his work truly unique. His work is available at local galleries and retail locations in Newport Beach California.
